The Friday Master’s League is a new cricket competition in Hong Kong, starting with a game between the Kai Tak Longstops and the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Organized by the Lamma Cricket Club, matches are held on Fridays at Gin Drinkers Bay & Kowloon Cricket Club ground, in the afternoon. The league has unique rules, including bonus points for fielding players over the age of 45, 60, female, and those born in Hong Kong. Matches are played with 35 overs a side, following the Saturday Championship League rules. Bonus points are awarded if the second innings goes past the 31st over, promoting longer matches and inclusivity.
